4.4. If the training is cancelled by the training provider, the fee is refunded in full.

5. Quality assurance of training

5.1. Curricula: all curricula are reviewed at least once a year. Where necessary, changes are made based on labour market needs, learner feedback and best practices in the field.

Category A curriculum

Principles of quality assurance of the training provider.
  • Conditions and procedure for ensuring the quality of continuing education curricula. The curricula comply with the principles of organisation of continuing education.
  • The continuing education institution, together with the trainer, prepares the curriculum and chooses the most suitable teaching methods. Based on participants’ feedback, the necessary changes are made to the curriculum.
  • Continuing education curricula are supplemented and updated regularly as needed.
  • Conditions and procedure for ensuring the quality of trainers
  • The trainer’s qualifications are stated in the continuing education curriculum.
  • Trainers of Liiklusekspert MTÜ generally have relevant higher education (master’s level) and long experience in the field. A trainer may also be a person with higher education in another field or with considerable competence and experience in the subject area.
  • The quality of trainers’ work is assessed based on oral and written feedback from participants. Where necessary, trainers receive suggestions for improving quality.
  • Conditions and procedure for ensuring the quality of the learning environment. Training takes place in classrooms chosen according to the nature of the training. The rooms are well equipped with a projector, training computers, mice and everything else needed. The room is spacious and well ventilated.
  • The continuing education institution checks the suitability of the classrooms (lighting, temperature, arrangement of chairs/tables, etc.) and ensures the necessary equipment is available. The quality of the learning environment is also supported by small group sizes. Groups are kept as small as possible to support a personal approach to each learner.
  • Procedure for collecting feedback. Initial feedback from participants is collected during the training and in breaks through conversation. At the end of the training participants fill in a feedback questionnaire. Learners are asked about the content, the trainer, the learning materials, the organisation and the venue. The feedback is analysed and the necessary changes are made to improve both the content (curriculum) and the organisation of training, to make the learning process more effective.
