Category B (car)
Training has two parts. In the initial stage you study theory, drive with the instructor, complete first aid, night driving and skid control training, and take the exams. You complete the final stage while holding the provisional licence. A category B licence also lets you ride an AM moped.
Full course 1090 €
Categories A1 and A2
Initial training is 24 theory and 12 driving lessons plus a first aid course. If you already have a category B licence, training is shorter: 10 theory and 10 driving lessons. Simplified A1: if you have held a category B licence for at least 2 years (provisional licence time does not count), you get the A1 right after a driving school course without state exams. It is valid only in Estonia.

The state theory exam for motorcycle categories (A, A1, A2) has 40 questions in 30 minutes, with up to 5 mistakes allowed. The driving exam consists of exercises on the training ground and about 35–45 minutes of driving in traffic.
Theory is studied in Liikluslab e-learning (in Estonian and Russian; the category B initial stage is also available in English).
