Do I need a medical certificate?
Yes. You can take driving lessons only with a valid driver’s medical certificate. It is issued by your family doctor or another doctor and reaches the Transport Administration’s system electronically. If you don’t have it when you register, you can get it later — before your first driving lesson.
How does the training work?
- You register on the website and receive the curriculum and an invoice by e-mail.
- You study traffic theory as e-learning (Liikluslab).
- You drive with the instructor on the training ground and in traffic.
- You pass the school’s theory and driving exams.
- You take the state theory and driving exams at the Transport Administration.
How long does the training take?
It depends on your schedule and pace. Driving lessons are scheduled flexibly, Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00, after 18:00 and on Saturdays by arrangement. We will make a detailed plan together after you register.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. The course can be paid according to a payment schedule. The last instalment must be paid two weeks before the end of the course.
In which language is the training?
Estonian, Russian or English.
What are the initial and final stages?
After the exams you receive a provisional driving licence. In the initial stage you complete skid control and night driving training. While holding the provisional licence you must complete the final-stage training. You get a full licence without new exams if the final stage is done and you have not been penalised for a traffic violation in the last 12 months.
What if I fail an exam?
The school exam can be retaken (theory 15 €, driving 55 € / category A 60 €). Follow-up training can help if needed. See the prices.
Where do the driving lessons take place?
Our training grounds are in Tallinn at Laki 16 and Narva mnt 152C. In traffic we drive on the streets of Tallinn.
